Period Costume Designer specializing in Georgian, Regency, Victorian, Edwardian, 1920s, etc. Main focus is in research and authenticity for historic dress on the modern body, with particular interest in historic dance, as participation in the re-enactment of period balls. Amy Nichole received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC and completed a Master of Arts in Costume Design for Performance at London College of Fashion.  Amy Nichole specializes in Millinery, Corsetry, Dressmaking, as well as both men’s and women’s tailoring for historic re-enactors, dancers, film, and bespoke bridal.


The Period Costume Shop has been created to fill a gap in the market to supply hard to get period items such as fans, gloves, stockings, materials, etc by collecting vintage items, creating reproductions or re-connecting broken supply chains by finding existing manufacturers, but with particular attention to quality and detail.
